You've always been searching, but never found.
always lost and losing
to distant crowds.

They can't see you nor hear you
they wont even let you speak.
You take your mind off
just to feel nothing.

So I thought of you today
and for how fast you could run,
for how far,
and for how long?

And if it's doing you well; the numbness the same?
then goodbye
to forever (a sad state of mind)
but it's the whole you dug so many times.

Virgo exists in the mind: Everything is inside

Virgo will not be settled for they have a very active mind that is always thinking and can never be silenced.
Virgos want to be of use, they need to be important and essential to everyone in their lives and in everything they do.
Virgo's major life lesson is to learn to trust in and have faith in the unknown.
They have to understand that things in life happen for a reason that is not always known to them, they do not have to always know everything.
They need to learn to calm down and not over-analyze a situation or event.
Deep inside, Virgo is very sensitive and they need to be appreciated for all the things they do. When Virgo is offended or hurt, they may never show it.

Everything that boiled down today-every thought that exists in my mind all the time that goes unanswered and clings to my heart like a little worm squirming inside trying to break free-trying to figure it all out, has finally come together after reading these little zodiac facts that are so accurate it scares me to the bones (as it usually does).
My detached soul, and cold self I felt today feels a little warmer, because I know I'm not crazy now. There's more of you out there just like me. So thank goodness, the Anzalone is not actually alone...

Everyday I enter a room with small blue and red chairs
to find myself being stared upon by fourteen curious children.
What on earth are the little monsters going to do, feel, and think today, I wonder.
I try and shove all my worries out the door before stepping inside, but some days
they like to follow me and bite me in the arse.
I take a deep breath, and soak in the chaos before it hits me like a freight train later on.
For the next five hours these fourteen children must be treated as my own.
They know not any better, and everything they see is like a dream.
I can show them right from wrong or shape their fragile minds into whatever I want...if I try hard enough.
But I can't help the little devil inside that's screaming, screaming, screaming;
trying his hardest to break free and run like hell out the blue door.
I guess at the end of the day, I'm nothing more than a mere monstrous kid myself.

Sun Day

Sundays are becoming my most favorite day of the week. These past few Sundays I've encountered have included amazing weather, productiveness, roommate bonding, and fun. Yesterdays Sunday was the top of the tops though, because it really overshadowed my painful Friday and Saturday that I spent with strep throat.
First off, I woke up and decided it was finally time to purchase my 2011 Bonnaroo ticket that I had been contemplating all weekend long. It felt so exhilarating to spend that much money on something that I know will be a one of a kind experience. I'm just anxiously waiting now for June to arrive...
After that, Anita cooked a hearty breakfast for the rest of us that we decided to eat on the front porch with our coffee. We then skipped on down to the flee market to meet up with Rangeley and Katie. In the end, everyone was happy with their purchases from the flee market. The best purchase though was this little tuxedo outfit for Romeo that we made him wear for the Academy Awards.
Back on home we went, and all of us did a little Sunday cleaning and re-decorating to our house, which is always a good feeling. We then treated ourselves to pizza, homemade Sangria, pasta, and cheescake for our very own Oscars party.
We had the best Oscars party on the block; beating out everyone else in the Fairmount neighborhood and in conclusion, we had the most perfect Sunday of all.

Now for some Sunday funday pictures (mostly including Romeo)

Words of Pablo Neruda

"We have to discard the past"

what was once living
is now no longer living;
what we were, we are not.
And with words, although the letters
still have transparency and sound,
they change, and the mouth changes;
the same mouth is now another mouth;
they change, lips, skin, circulation;
another soul took on our skeleton;
what once was in us now is not.
It left, but if they call, we reply;
"I am here," and we realize we are not,
that what was once, was and is lost,
lost in the past, and now does not come back.

We are slowly becoming everything we've imagined ourselves to be. With the slightest smile, we awaken our days unknowingly expecting the next best thing. We think we have conquered this thing called living-gotten it down to key, but alas we still have more. The man at the door is yet finished with all of our lives. He's hoping for the best in all of us, and I, like many of you, are wanting to fulfill that.
I do not know what this man wants from me, but you and I both know its subconsciously hiding in the pits of our minds-aside from all the clutter-underneath all that baggage- If only we could just reach in and grab it, touch it and live inside of it for awhile. Just to get away from all the busy bee's who are searching and searching for it too.

Snowed In

Well, I'm finally back to my regular life. . .
Last Tuesday an ice storm swept down from Canada and had all of North Texas trapped inside for four days. I couldn't believe I had an entire week off from school and work. It was completely unexpected. My roommates and I were amazed day after day with the 5 degree wind chill and school continuing to cancel. Then, on the night of our 3rd snow day, it snowed again! Nothing like Texas weather. All in all, I treated my four days off like a vacation. An unnecessary vacation, but a relaxing one indeed.
